Excellent Results Achieved in Monte Negro [17.06.2008]

On Sunday in Podgorica of Monte Negro came to an end a three day tournament presenting really high demands on competitors shooting according to the rules of IPSC. Competition running under the title 5.11 Challenge was delegated by CZ UB with a team of many contestants and the practical shooters of Česká zbrojovka performed in the way as virtually always – they were victorious.

New 2008

The Ceska zbrojovka presented visitors to the IWA Show with the best items from its product range. Besides the CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom pistol, the display also included the CZ HA 550 Hunter. This is a new rifle designed on the CZ 550 platform. This rifle is designed for shooting at long distances. Its stock is made of premium walnut. The CZ 527 Exclusive is another new release – the EBONY EDITION represents a new generation of exclusive CZ rifles. The stock is made of a modern type of luxurious walnut finished off with ebony. Extreme hunting conditions may welcome another newcomer - the CZ 527 Synthetic.

The firm BRNO RIFLES, s.r.o. is affiliated company of Česká zbrojovka, the objective is to resume the world-acclaimed tradition associated with firearms manufactured in Brno, especially in the field of shotguns production. In this way the famous brand of Zbrojovka Brno a.s. has its successor the products of which appear on the market just thanks to Česká zbrojovka a.s., Uherský Brod, which will offer products made by BRNO RIFLES, s.r.o., inclusive spare parts, using its own distribution network. The Signatory shooters of CZUB and their excellent results of many years successfully represent our joint-stock Company at various shooting competitions of the highest level both at home and in foreign countries.

Our CZ Shooting Team sites will keep you regularly informed. There you will learn about the CZ Shooting Team and CZ firearms achievements on the highly demanding circuit of IPSC competitions ( which insiders call "Formula 1" of Shooting ), and also the successes in other competitions and matches.

Adam Tyc (CZ 75 SP-01) - Winner of the IPSC International Championship in the Production Division overcoming 60 competitors. At the same Division Angus Hobdell (CZ USA) achieved second place.
