Another competition in practical shooting according to the IPSC rules was held during the past weekend. And the shooters (with the arms produced by Česká zbrojovka) of the “World Class” CZ Shooting Team again recorded podium finishes. For that shooting weekend, the CZ Shooting Team was divided into two parts. The group composed of Martin Kameníček, Zdeněk Liehne, and Marian Vyšný left for a long journey to Kaunas to take part in the International Championship of Lithuania. They had to face there 20 traditionally demanding shooting situations and competitors from 15 countries. The other group composed of Miroslav Zapletal, Petr Znamenáček, Robin Šebo, and Petr Pijáček, further complemented by an international member of the CZ Shooting Team, Ljubiša Momčilovič, Serbia, travelled to Debrecen where they took part in an important three-day competition MFS Open. They had to face 24 difficult shooting situation, i.e. the same number as at this year’s European Championship in Beograd. Shooters from 18 countries participated in the competition.

Both competitions were held under extreme tropical heat, testing not only the shooting abilities but also physical condition of shooters before the approaching European Championship in Beograd.

The international Lithuania Open, held from 10 to 11 July in Kaunas in which especially the top shooters from the Baltic and Nordic countries took part, finished with a great success of the shooters of the CZ Shooting Team, when all three shooters involved won in their divisions. M. Kameníček in the Open Division (pistol CZ 75 TS Czechmate in a calibre of 9x19), Z. Liehne in the Standard Division (pistol CZ 75 TS in a calibre of .40S&W), and Marian Vyšný in the Production Division (pistol CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow in a calibre of 9x19).

The shooters of Česká zbrojovka succeeded also at the fifth international competition in IPSC MFS Open 2010, held from 9 to 11 July 2010 in Debrecen, Hungary, finishing 1st, 2nd, and 4th in the PRODUCTION Division. The gold medal was won by a shooter of the international CZ Shooting Team, Ljubiša Momčilovič of Serbia, the silver was won by Miroslav Zapletal of Uherský Brod, and another member of the international CZ Shooting Team, Elder Steiner of Israeli, finished fourth. All the mentioned shooters competed with CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow pistols in a calibre of 9x19. In the OPEN Division, the shooters of the CZ Shooting Team finished third and fifth; a talented shooter Robin Šebo won the bronze medal and the fifth place was taken by Petr Pijáček (both using CZ 75 TS Czechmate in a calibre of 9x19). The shooters of the CZ Shooting Team from Uherský Brod succeeded also in the STANDARD Division. The bronze medal was won by Petr Znamenáček and the fourth place was taken by a member of the international team of Česká zbrojovka, Uherský Brod, Gyorgy Batki of Hungary. Both shooters competed with CZ 75 TS in a calibre of 40S&W.
